Hi, my nane is yash naik. I had opened an account with hdfc during my tenure at my previous firm in 2018. After i left the firm, hdfc allegedly converted my salary account to savings account without my consent and has been charging me for minimum balance ever since. My current balance is -2097 and the amount keeps on increasing each month by rs.600. I am highly worried and shocked by the ethics shown by hdfc. It is worrisome to see such a reputed bank like hdfc conducting such behavior. A quick reply would be highly appreciated. Thus the balance required to be maintained is Rs. 10000/-. The special facilities offered on the Salary Account is pursuant to the arrangement between the employer / company and the Bank. These benefits are extended by virtue of your employment in the organization, on whose request the account is opened with the bank. In the event of no salary credits in the Salary Account for any continuous three months, the Bank reserves the right to change the status of Salary Account to Savings Regular Account and the Terms & Conditions as applicable to the HDFC Bank Savings Regular Account shall apply to this account from the date of change of status.
