[Resolved] HDFC Bank — complain regarding my personal loan[protected] | |
Hello sir, I have taken personal loan of approx 1.3 lacs in 2016. That time i was working in hdfc bank chennai and i had taken on my salary account. But unfortunately after few months i left job due to some issues and my account gets inactive. As i was jobless and not in chennai, so unable to pay emi for few months. Then i started repaying the emi and cleared the arrears. As i was in my native so one of hdfc bank staff suggested me to pay emi in branch, they will send some mail to the branch people in my native and they will accept emi. So every month on ecs date i used to go to the branch and paid emi. Now all emi is cleared. But bank person from nelson manickam road, staff name-rajesh leelakanth (R17138) he is calling and telling to pay ecs charge of rs 17000. I am going through huge economic crisis and situation is very bad. When i asked that you people only suggested to pay the emi in branch, so i did and on the same ecs date i paid each month emi, then how this ecs charges came for this much amount. Also when i asked about the detailed information, he is denying to provide and telling that its bank policy, u need to come to the branch in chennai. Currently i m not staying in chennai. Its very painful to hear this type of response from bank and also paying 17000 as charge is quite difficult. I asked for some waiver also but he is continuously calling my parents and thdeatening that i[censored] not pay then u see what can i do, i will destroy your life and bla bla. This is a type of behaviour of bank staff with the customer. Please look into this matter as serious concern and provide me some waiver so that i can able to close this on earliest.
