[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — Complaint Regarding Unexplained Debit of INR 542 and Lack of Proper Assistance

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding an unexplained deduction from my HDFC Bank account bearing Account No. [protected] linked with my Personal Loan repayment through Money View.

I had earlier faced a cheque bounce due to insufficient balance, and I accept my mistake in that regard. The bounce charges applicable from Money View were already deducted, and I have no objection towards the same.

However, on 19th May 2026, an additional amount of INR 542 was debited from my account. When I contacted the HDFC RM team to enquire about this deduction, I was initially made to wait for a long time by a female executive, after which a male executive attended the call and informed me that the amount was debited due to an “AUTOPAY payment failure” caused by low balance.

My concern is very clear:

On what basis has HDFC deducted INR 542 again when the cheque bounce charges were already deducted by Money View?

Why is this debit not properly reflected with a clear narration/reason in my account statement?

If the amount has genuinely been deducted, I request valid proof and proper transaction details to be reflected in my bank statement.

I have been continuously trying to get clarification from 19th May till today, 20th May, but no proper assistance or satisfactory explanation has been provided by the HDFC team.

Further, today I received an incentive amount of INR 7, 000 from my company. However, despite receiving the credit message, my available balance shown in the SMS is only INR 7, 610, which is creating serious confusion and concern regarding unauthorized deductions from my account.

This type o[censored]nexplained deduction without proper transparency is unacceptable. I request:

Immediate clarification regarding the INR 542 deduction

Proper reflection of the debit reason in my account statement

Proof/supporting details for the deduction

Investigation into the handling of my complaint by the concerned executives

Necessary action against the responsible team/person for the poor customer support provided

I have attached all relevant screenshots and supporting documents for your reference.

Kindly treat this matter as urgent and provide a written clarification at the earliest.
