[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — credit card application

I had applied for the hdfc credit card on february 16th 2018. I also received this message stating-"dear applicant your hdfc bank credit card app ref no [protected]e1 is approved in principle subject to internal checks". But now the status is shown as disapproved as they couldn't verify my address. This is the second time i'm applying for a credit card and the same error happened before as well. They have come for the verification during office hours and there's no one to verify my address. I live alone and all my neighbours are working it professionals like myself. Please look into the same. A simple call before verification is enough so that i can be available for the formalities. I wasn't able to get any support from the representatives from credit card division and customer care.

I went and talked to the nearest bank branch again yesterday, they said the application is being processed with the declaration form. An official came for the verification today.
HDFC Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

I have filled the form and have submitted it at the HDFC Bank near my location [HDFC Bank, Gr Flr, Tower A 3, IT/ITES SEZ, Action Area ID New Town North 24 Parganas - 700156]. But there has been no response so far.
