[Resolved] HDFC Bank — credit card autopay deduct on post payment of bill

Hi team,

I have paid my credit card bill 4509 rupees for the statement of march 2020 on april 3rd 2020.
I have received confirmation message also but april 4th auto deduct of minimum due amount 230 rupees is again debited towards credit card bill payment for the month of march 2020.

Please kindly check my transactions and refund my amount 230 rupees which is deducted from my account.

Please check the reference numbers
Ib[protected] for bill payment and reference number for auto debit is[protected].

HDFC Bank Customer Care's response Dear Customer,

We observe that you have given us an instruction to claim the minimum monthly outstanding on your card account from your savings account. We note that at the time of autopay execution the payment was not credited to card account hence based on the instruction, we have claimed the minimum amount due from your savings account. We wish to inform that credit balance on your credit card will be adjusted towards subsequent transactions on your card.
