[Resolved] HDFC Bank — Credit Card | |||||
I got a call from [protected]. The person posed himself as an HDFC Bank representative and told me that as a previliged customer of the bank and because I make the credit card payments on time, I'm going to receive gift hamper at my registered address. The person asked me to tell him the color of my credit card type - yellow, red, etc. and asked for the last 3 digits (CVV). I lied to him that I do not have my credit card at the moment. But he kept asking when I will have my credit card in front of me so that he can call back. When I refused to give him any information and told him that I will give this information only to an HDFC representative, he got angry and told me that he is from the Service department of HDFC and that he will ensure that i get charged 8, 000 in my next statement for not cooperating.
