[Resolved] HDFC Bank — credit card

I was told that my credit card is lifetime free and there is no annual or joining fees if i do 4 transaction of rs 500/- each for first 3 months. Accordingly i used the card. But now i get a call from your side that every month rs 750/- will be charged for 2 years as security deposit.
Its misleading and cheating, hence i want to surrender and close the card account.

We observe from our records that, your HDFC Bank Regalia First credit card can be converted to a Life Time Free card Post activation, 4 transactions in a month for the first 3 consecutive months ( minimum transaction value Rs.500.00) within 90 days of card issuance. In the event the same was not met then membership fee of hence fee of Rs.1000 plus GST is applicable as per the product feature. To be eligible for the renewal fee waiver, you are required to achieve a retail spends of Rs.1, 00, 000.00 within a year. We wish to inform you that the renewal fee waiver upon achieving the retail spend thresholds is applicable to all subsequent renewals.
