Subject - Reversal of Charges
Following points -
1. Have been trying to change my address by calling the call center number many times with no effect. The result being I skip the payment on time and unnecessary penalties and service charges keep getting added in the next statement.
2. Deliberately time consuming 'IVRS' for Credit card queries - I have spent atleast 15 min's every time to get to the person to talk for Credit card queries. You IVRS option doesn't account for every possible problem and I guess it is deliberately kept that long to force people give up.- That way the charges get augmented every month
3. No RESPONSE to mails sent to customerservices.[protected]@hdfcbank.com. Your Custome Care executive insists response to come within 24 hours. Yet I don't see any response
4. HDFC doesn't communicate the reasons for cheque not submitted for clearance even after me calling the customer centre to figure out the status.

4. HDFC doesn't communicate the reasons for cheque not submitted for clearance (against last statement). There is no acknowledgement given for the cheque submitted for credit card statement.
If the cheque doesn't clear (because of any technical reason), HDFC neither bothers to inform about
1. Cheque not cleared
2. Reasons for above
It is left to the hapless individual to follow up to even know whether the payment made by him has indeed being cleared.
5. Even personal visits to bank branches doesn't help - There is no dedicated credit card counter. All every one seems to say is talk to them over the phone.
6. Was told by the customer executive over the phone that the process to stop the credit card to is drop an application for the same in a HDFC ATM drop box. I did the same weeks back.
So far I haven't got any acknowledgement on the same or any reasons why my application can be proceeded with or not.
Outcome of above - Late Charge Penalties keep getting augmented and the hapless customer has to pay.
Are their processes for other banking aspects - applying for loans, accounts, etc that unresponsive?
What I desire - Stop the Credit Card (with my penalties getting reversed if [possible)
