[Resolved] HDFC Bank — credit card complaint

Dear sir/madam,

This is regarding the credit card which i have used for more than 5 years. I have closed my credit card in the month of july 9th 2018. I have sent my credit cards to chennai address for the closing. I got a confirmation message from the banking states that your credit card has been closed.

I have paid all my outstanding as on date july 9th 2018. But still i am receiving calls from hdfc phone banking stating you have to pay 4993.83.

I do not understand why after closure of my card this confusion is happening.

Now i received the letter from the chennai bank address, stating that the outstanding has been deduct from your savings bank.

Why i need to pay for the closed credit cards.

HDFC Bank Customer Care's response Dear Customer,

As per July 2018 statement, the total amount payable is Rs. 2, 147.00 with the payment due date on August 01, 2018. However, we were not in receipt of any payment towards the same.
