I am senthilkumar. S. I hold a credit card in hdfc from 2012. I have been paying regularly thatys my limit in the card was increased to 15 k to 144 k. I am jobless for the past six months inspite of that i have been paying minimum due. This month i could not arrange funds and there has also been a bereavement n my family.
Are hdfc collection agents educated or they just goons appointed for collecting money and hdfc bank is a bank or an illiterate office.
Reason
1.0n 17-01-18 i got a call on my mobile from[protected]. A lady spoke and i clearly informed that i need some time. She said if i am not paying that day my account wil be default. (???).
2. On[protected] i got call from[protected] the same lady talked to me. I clearly informed that i wil be able to give a pdc cheque dated[protected] for payment. But that lady didn't accept that and she said she wants my friend cheque which is an hdfc account. Or else she wil debit my friend account on 30th. (Is she unaware or is she fraud how can she debit my friend account on 30 th for my payment.) also my friend with whose account i pay regularly used to get some calls for my card payment. Without my authorization how can they call my friend. They have just pulled his contact details from his account without his permission and have called him. Is this not a serious privacy violation.. Without customers authorisation how can any employee of a bank pull his details.. Is the bank justifing the same what if tomorrow some other employee gonna transfer amt from saving account to his own account just because he has access to it. Just stealing money alone s a crime.. Stealing information is also a great crime. I have raised this with collection manager mr. Guriprasad at guruprasad. [protected]@hdfcbank.com on[protected]. Via phone. He said he wil look into this but in vain. May be he would have ignored to let the team know or the team would have ignored his advise. Either of that would be a harassment to the customer. My friend has also raised this customer care and mr. Amesh has promised this wil not happen. But again on vain. Ppl are ignoring their managers order and are not following rbi rule.
3. I got a call on my fathers number on[protected]As there s a network problem in my phone) and i attended the call. The same lady spoke and said she needs the payment on 23 rd or else she wil send the legal manager asking me to write a letter signing i wil not pay anymore.. R u guys don't have common sense. Do u think customers are dumb enough to believe whatever u say. Also the manner she spoke seems as if i have utilized bank money and i am gonna run away.

My questions are:
What are you thinking of a customer. You can suck blood for money or u can take his self respect for a task. Who gave rights for this.
I have the all the recordings with me but anywhich way since hdfc as a bank (Not a goonda agency) records every cal. So pls listen to the conversation and let me know does hdfc allows this. If not what action will be taken against the caller.
