[Resolved] HDFC Bank — credit card incorrect charge on declined transaction | |
I have been following up with HDFC Credit cards across all their escalation departments in vain for the past 10 months for an incorrect charge on my account. I had confirmed with the bank via customer service that there were two transactions one declined and one successful on the very next day but after the statement was generated there were two transactions for the same amount. One was reversed after speaking with customer care only to be reversed in 4 months and hence have been applied with finance charges and other charges. The card is now blocked all the points accumulated taken off and I have been answering to calls and writing emails to have this sorted. But in vain. Even the grievance readdressing process is nothing more than of the customer care level with pre programmed answers and dependency on other departments than a independent department looking into the issue raised.
