My credit card amount was due which I decided to clear the entire amount of 16974 at once. Credit card recovery Dept executive named Raja called me on 27/12/2019 and forwarded me a payzapp link. The first link did not work and then he sent again following which I made the payment via my debit card of another bank.
The payment was shown as a "success" and a txn id delivered. But it's now 30/12/2019 and till now no message has been sent regarding the receipt of the dues from HDFC's side nor have they updated my outstanding dues amt in the website.
Called hdfc credit card helpline to which a lady said the problem lies with payzapp department.
Called payzapp department and they said it lies with their merchant department of payzapp.
Called merchant department of payzapp also, and the lines are forever busy.
No contact from bank and no redressal mechanism. Very indifferent service provider. No attempts to assist and resolve matters and just one way communication facilitated. I only get to talk to them when they have something to tell.
It's almost time for the next month's stmt to be generated and here I am trying to hope against hope that my amount stands acknowledged.
