Dear sirs managing my complaint i have an issue with the bank where they haven't left any sources for me to contact them to know what is my bill for the month and when can i get a call from them i asked them what is my bill please tellme so that i can avoid late payment charges and pay on time but the lady said you will get a call back and i didnt just after i crossed my due date days the bank collection guys tellme i have to pay 2900 because of my late payment, first my card is blocked so i cannot call the customer service as i get rejected in the ivr i am not registered with mobile banking too second i visted the bank in malad on 29 september to change my phone number on the credit card so that i can get an intimation but i got nothing iv been forced and harassed by the guys calling me and telling we will come home as iv got a sick mom at home and asking me to pay my entire outstanding which i cannot i can only pay the monthly dues i get which i guess isnt wrong but hdfc bank has been really very rude to not look at the reality of the problem and just penalizing the customers. Verified Support Oct 29, 2018 HDFC Bank Customer Care's response Dear Customer, We observe that your card ending 6770 was hotlisted, as per your request on 04/08/2018 and a new card ending 1279 was generated. However, physical plastic was not despatched, in the absence of your request for the same. Here, we wish to clarify that the statement carried the new credit card account number. Further, payment of at least the minimum amount due towards the card outstanding needs to be received by the bank to ensure that the card account is active and available for usage. In order to avoid levy of finance charges and late payment charges, payment of the total outstanding needs to reach the bank by the payment due date. In view of the same, our bank representative had contacted you at the numbers recorded with us to communicate the outstanding and facilitate payment towards the same. Hence, we request you to effect payment towards the total amount due within the payment due date to avoid levy of bank charges. -Anay HDFC Bank Customer Assistance | |||||
