I am holding a salary (Savings) account in HDFC Bank (Account no. [protected]). Debit transactions were blocked from my account in September. I had a conversation with customer care and i was instructed to visit the nearest branch for KYC. I visited the nearest branch (Netaji chowk, Ulhasnagar) and did the needful. After one month of follow up, they told me to visit the home branch (Kamala Mills, Lower Parel).
I visited the home branch in 1st week of November, and again did the whole KYC process and other formalities which i did in the nearest branch. After one month of follow up, i got no response from them. Suddenly i was called to give details of 500 (five hundred) UPI transactions i have done from my account since last one year (since the account opening month). I accordingly gave the details of all 500 transactions in the excel sheet that was shared with the nearest branch and i stayed in the branch for 2 hours and gave all the details.
After all the follow up mails and messages and calls, i got no response from anyone, neither the nearest branch nor home branch. It is almost the end of december month and it has been almost 4 months and i have not received any information or update or solution. Every time i contact them for an update, they simply say that we have forwarded the complaint, we have forwarded your mail, etc. but no response.
My Diwali festival got ruined because of this situation. I had plans for my family and i couldn't do anything. I had so much pressure on me for paying my monthly installments. I had to borrow money from others to pay the same. Since the organization where i was working before October, i was about to receive Salary and Full and Final settlement of two months together. I had received the same in my account but i could not use the same.
Every month around Rs. 25000/- of installments goes from my account, but it has been really hard and frustrating sine last 3 months. I request you to please help me in this situation as i need my money as soon as possible to pay my debts.
Also, since i changed my company in October, my registered mail id was associated with my previous company which is now inactive. Can you please tell me what should i put in the Ref. No. section?
Also, i have raised this concern on this portal already 1 month ago. The ref. id that i received is 352194672. I received a mail thereafter and it was mentioned there
"We understand that your query is being served by email reference number 34659448.
Further, we have already taken up the query with the concerned team, and we will reply to your email via the same reference number on or before November 11, 2023."
I never received any further response after that.
