[Resolved] HDFC Bank — delay in reactivation and replacement | |||
Having lost my phone i froze my bank account and blocked my credit cards on 27th dec. On 31st dec i visited hdfc bank, halasuru to reactivate and replace my accounts and cards. Neither i nor the relationship manager was able to do anything online or by phone, so forms were manually filled out and sent. On 6th jan i got a message that my account did not autopay my credit card bill. Nine days later i have not received my cards yet. Was this information helpful? | |||

Verified Support Jan 08, 2019 HDFC Bank Customer Care's response Dear Customer, We would like to clarify that, your card ending 9383 was hotlisted, as per your request on 29/12/2018 and a new card ending 0288 was generated. However, physical plastic was not despatched, in the absence of your request for the same. Here, we wish to clarify that the statement carried the new credit card account number. We confirm that we are not in receipt of the payment for December 2018 statement within the payment due date.
