HDFC Bank — Disabled my Bank Account and Online Account

Hi

For no fault of mine i have been using HDFC Account for past 17 years and no issues and operating the account for so many years.

I have been paying all my loans, auto debits etc etc.

Suddenly on 11th April 2021 my online account is disabled. Message from them that someone was trying to hit my account from other sources which was not my usage pattern.

The resolution to get back my account activated again is to go to POST OFFICE in April 2021 when the PANDEMIC was at its height in the SECOND WAVE to visit POST OFFICE and POST a letter to CHENNAI to reopen the account and enable the online account

Or VISIT the nearest branch to get it activated again.

NOW does any sane person understand this kind of operations from a reputed bank and with such old ways of working to write a letter and send it via SPEED POST to CHENNAI back office.

Where in this age of digital banking, all banking operations are coming doorstep. how is it working with old ways. since last 4 months my account is disabled and no notifications no login no sms for amoutn being taken away from my account. this is how it works with a reputed bank in india. How am i supposed to consume this operations

Hello Team,

Today i was speaking to the nearest branch manager at Pune. Till yesterday i was given the assurance that all possible help will be provided to ensure i will be able to operate the account or alternatively i will be given a new bank account and shift all my auto-debits to that new account.

Today suddenly the tone has changed and there does not seem to look like any respite for the issue raised.

Its work from home and we as senior IT professionals are working from 9 am till night 2am constantly supporting our IT projects and delivery IT projects 24x7.

Expecting a senior professional to go around to the bank in this age of digital banking there is no way to call up someone or write an email or use an online banking facility to enable my account.

No an opportunity given to open a new account and shift all my old auto-debits to my new account.

Again reconciling all the deposits that i made and the money taken so far for past 2 month to pay against those auto-debits is not possible as the online banking is disabled.

I make payments by other means, there are no SMS given to me. There are no Acknowledgements of the payments made.

Apart from speaking to rude staff members from the Pune Branch is another area of concern.

The mistake has started from HDFC on 11th April 2021 to disable my online banking and the ripple effect is showing on my goodwill, my reputation, my family life, my professional life and mental peace.

Asking a senior person from the hdfc bank to step in and resolve this issue of my online banking being disabled.
