HDFC Bank — Doesn't accept cash if server is not working | |||
HDFC Bank has a tendency to not to accept cash if server is not working. I have asked the teller authorizer to accept the cash and post the cash credit into the account later on but was told that they aren't allowed to do so. Hence by this forum, I would like to advise bank leaders to make a change in current system. Can you please look into this and start accepting deposits even if the bank's server is down. Please don't consider this as a complaint but rather take it as a suggestion. Was this information helpful? | |||

I understand your concern, however before accepting the cash from the depositor, we need to make relevant checking in our system database, post which the transaction can bee processed. In Absence of systems, we will be unable to accept the deposits. Do write back to us with your contact details and branch details in case of any pending issue.
