A cheque no, 000014 dated 09th september, 2016 for rs. 3, 976.00 was handed over to your office on 09th instant at ho chi sarani branch in kolkata for renewal of the above car insurance policy in the name of my niece roli kar gupta, who is presently in usa. The date of expiry of the policy was 13.09.2016. Instead of giving a cover note, the concerned person acknowledged the receipt of the payment on the photo copy of the cheque. Since then till date the renewal has not been effected
After lot of persuasion they could locate the cheque last week and thereafter the cheque was presented to our bank and which has been encashed. But the policy has not yet been issued and on enquiry over phone, nobody could tell us about the status.
I am surprised that in today's business environment, you are so lackadaisical and negligent in your approach, resulting in serious harassment to the
Customer. Please note that if the policy is not issued immediately, i will refer the matter to the appropriate authority and also circulate it in the public forum so that people in general are aware and they will necessarily rethink before investing with your company.
Today sometime back when again i spoke over phone, i was told that the concerned person will call me back in 5 minutes, which has not materialized as yet.
