HDFC Bank Ergo General Insurance — Refund of claim

I have bought a policy though hdfc ergo # 16-02-16 offer on hdfc credit card. I regret to inform you that this is a useless policy and i did not recommend to anyone even not to my enemy. I have a salary account in hdfc bank and also have credit card of same. I received a call from hdfc bank they told me about the policy benefits and did not inform about the loss of same. Till date i did not receive any single document (Bond agreement, insurance card etc.) from their side related to the policy. After buying this policy my husband met an accident and broke his leg. He was admitted to non network hospital for 9-10 days. When he was in hospital i had already informed to insurer that this is happened with us. They suggest me to after discharge please submit the all documents for claim process. And i did so but the result is nil.In the meanwhile my grandfather passed away. I have courier all the documents related to the process # 03-05-16. From my side i had already submitted the all documents to the insurance company but they told me that you have admitted to a non network hospital so that all formalities completed by you only insurance will not playing a role in it. I informed to them remaining documents which was not submitted to you that hospital clearly refuse to handover to the patient insurance surveyor come over there and collect the documents from here. Now they just send me the reminder over reminder. I also trying to cancel the policy but they are not responding in it also. I ma very upset with the services because i am in very trouble and now my husband got slipped down and fracture in his hand. I need your help to sort out this problem. If policy company send their surveyor over there to collect the remaining documents from the hospital or cancel the policy as soon as possible.

When i lodge a complaint at Consumer Complaints i received a call from HDFC ERGO Insurance department as on 25 July, 16 i also request to cancel this policy and after he raised a cancellation request on same day. Cancellation policy no. is HN[protected]. And after that i received a call from their head office mumbai no. is[protected],[protected] spoke with anita and after she informed me that you have raised a cancellation request of this policy but we have already approved this claim and sent a cheque of rs. 3000/- karur vsyasa bank at your registered address. I told to her that i did not receive any cheque till date[protected]. She told me pls confirm with claim department as you know that we have send you a refund cheque so we are not able to cancel the policy. I don't know what are they doing. It's very useless policy and useless people are working in their department. when one person is not able to resolve the problem they just transfer the call to another one and keep the phone hold for long while.

Please help me out in this matter because you are only the person who help me.
