Hello sir, i am nitesh jindal one of your bank account holder and your credit card holder. From last one year i am suffering from diseases from which i cant able to manage my credit card account. My younger brother is taking care of my credit card but he fail to mange my account properly because of which lots of late charges and finance charges added in my account. When you check my account statement of last one year you will get to noticed that more than rs 30000/- extra penalty is added to my account. So you are requested to go through account statement and waif off the amount as much as you can do. Thanking you

HDFC Bank Customer Care's response Dear Customer,

We wish to inform you that in the event of non-receipt of payment, delayed payment or payment less than the total minimum amount due to the applicable late payment charges/finance charges would be levied to the card account. You will appreciate that the bank charges levied is legitimate and in accordance with the Schedule of Charges shared along with the Most Important Terms & Conditions as well as on the reverse of the credit card statement.
