HDFC Bank — Fake 1000 Rupee Note from Bank ATM

Hello Sir/Madam, I am Neeraj Verma a resident of Santnagar, Delhi. I have an Account with HDFC Bank, Kalkaji Branch. Recently I withdrew a total of Rs. 39000/- from HDFC Bank ATM (Burari Branch) on 9th July around 7:30 PM and I was shocked to see that 1 of the 1000 rupee note was fake. I had complained regarding this to HDFC customer Care (Complaint No. - DELC[protected]) which was closed by them stating that they did not found any such discrepancy in their records. When I asked to see the video footage they talked harshly and refused to do the same. I again registered a complaint (Complaint No. - DELC[protected]) to provide me a video recording of the ATM which is still open & under process. Kindly suggest what do I do in this matter as this can happen to anybody. Reputed Bank such as HDFC has behaved in a very inappropriate manner & this has made me complain against them to higher authorities. Kindly check how this issue can be sorted out.
