HDFC Bank — Fake Bank Guarantee Issued

Im working as a private financier, one of known person approach me for a credit loan, i asked give surety for loan, then they said their relation working in HDFC abnk, they have bank guarantee cheque. so i received and ready to give loan. but after i accept to give loan, they rise the amount in lakhs they bank guarantee. so i got doubt in bank guarantee, so i deposited the cheques and letters what they have gave. andf wrote a complaint to CEO level. but they not taken any action on them employee. that employee again threaten me for complaint.

Hi Sir,

I'm Saravana Prasad, residing at Ramapuram Chennai. Doing Private finance business in Ramapuram Location with low interest rate. On 02/02/16 Ms. Ilangeswari, Contact no. [protected] / [protected] approach me for 50, 000/- finance with 2% interest rate. I agreed to give fund and asked to them give some surety documents, like land documents, account statement, cheque leafs. After that they asked a week time to provide document for get fund. On 13/02/16 they contact me and said their relation working in HDFC Bank and that employee have to give some fund to Ilangeswari. for that they giving cheque in favour of Ilangeswari with bank guarantee, endorsed by banking officer. along with covering letter. i said ok for that and asked want to meet that person working really in HDFC.


On 16/02/16 around 6.15pm at Nelson manickam Road Head office, ground floor reception lobby i have met that person name Maheswari working as Branch operation manager, shenoy nagar branch. she said bank guarantee cheque approval is under process it will take 7 to 10days time to get credit appraisal memo sanction. i believed and her saying all is true and waited till she get sanction letter. On 22/02/16 i have went to shenoy nagar area for some work, mean while i would like to check in shenoy nagar branch whether maheswari really working in branch and employee of HDFC. So i called her, ask for meet she said family emergency have to go on permission. i reached shenoy nagar branch Branch around 11.15 to 11.40 am that time maheswari came down from branch entrance steps towards ground floor parking. i met her and spoke in parking, asked about cheque she said once cheque got ready ilangeswari will contact you then come and collect. after that she moved off from there. but i still have some doubt whether she really working here, after she went i have enquiry with security guard, and send my person to branch and enquiry. they all confirm she working in branch and she went out on permission. so i was happily trusted it is unique and good surety.

On 26/02/16 around 6.30 pm at Nelson manickam Road Head office, ground floor reception lobby i have met Maheswari, and got cheque with two confirmation letters from bank for cheque will not return. and she said today only letter sanction from head office. after that i have called ilangeswari, informed that got letter and cheque. come and get the cash on 01/03/16. they said ok for that but on 29/02/16ilangeswari called me and said that they have got another bank guarantee cheque for 30 lakhs amount in the name of Indian stores from Maheswari account, so pledge that cheque also and give 15 lakhs loan with 1% rate of interest. now i confused and its orginal bank guarantee cheque or they are trying to cheat me. for cross check i have deposit the cheque and letters in ashok nagar branch today at around 11.30am. please confirm me, can i give them cash. and please let me know the procedure for get bank guarantee cheque from bank for my account.
