[Resolved] HDFC Bank — false charges on credit card

I have not done any transaction from my credit card ending:4124. And also it was conveyed initially by your representative that it is lifetime free card. But still, my statement balance is 589 rs which is due by 9th of august and there is no such transaction done. And the bank is not even showing why it is charging that amount. Why?? Verified Support Jul 30, 2019 HDFC Bank Customer Care's response "Dear Customer, We observe that your Moneyback credit card was processed as priced credit card hence the membership fee of hence fee of Rs.500.00 plus GST is applicable as per the product feature. To be eligible for renewal fee waiver, you are required to achieve a retail spends of Rs.50, 000.00 within a year. Recovery agents are coming home and banging door repeatedly inspite of telling them that we will pay the outstanding amount of HDFC credit card.

They tell us they are from hdfc bank but than they agreed to disclosed that they worked for recovery agency called SAPTAGIRI CONSULTANTS.

its not safe to come at home address and ask for payments.
