[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — false claim of replacing debit card

This is to inform that i received one call from [protected] at 05:19 pm today claiming detail of my debit card of hdfc bank, in the plea that my card would be closed within a week and a new card would be delivered instead. On enquiry of his office details and authority, he was annoyed and switched off his phone.
Please, inquire the source of the fake call from [protected].

Vishing is one such attempt where fraudsters try to seek your personal information like Customer ID, Net Banking password, ATM PIN, OTP, Card expiry date, CVV etc. through a phone call. Never share any personal information like Customer ID, ATM PIN, OTP etc. over the phone, SMS or email.
