[Resolved] Hdfc Bank — Harassment calls from recovery agents

Hi, My name is Bhawna Billa. I am a credit card holder of your bank in which i have outstanding of Rs. 1, 72, 000 approx. From last few days, i am getting harassment and abusive calls from one of your recovery agent. He make 100 of calls everyday in my office landline and shout on my reception and security guards when i am not in office. I have requested him to call on my mobile which he doesn't do. He always call me on my office landline and shout very loudly and threat me that if i wont make payment today itself he will disclose my debts to my company HR team and he did the same. He called my company HR colleagues and my senior management and rudely spoke with them also asked them to pay my bill. Apart from that, he send an another guy to my 2 relatives places and insulted in front of neighbors. He force them to pay my minimum due on the spot. He really created a big drama over there. When i asked his name he replied, I am not here to do Naamkaran and uses very loose language. Somehow i managed to get his name from other agent who come and call. His name is Anuj from Rajouri Garden, New Delhi Branch. Also my husband called to branch to talk to him but they said that there is no Anuj and put on hold for 20 mins and the same happened 5 times. I know in am mistaken due to worst family condition today as we have lost our home in business loss. He is giving me mental illness. Sometimes i think it is better to kill myself than taking these calls and get insulted in front of neighbors and office colleagues. I have already got insulted so much due to this guy, i am not in condition to face this guy again. Please take necessary action against him. Regards Bhawna Billa [protected]

Hi You can ask the telecaller person to furnish the following :

1) ask full name of the telecaller
2) employee and email id
3) superior officer or Manager's email id and phone number
4) record the phone call possibly.
5) Note the time, date and duration of the call
5) Send the incident in writing by Registered Acknowledgment Post to Chairman of HDFC Mr.PURI.
I inform to u. This is very shamfull thing for you. Your executive called me. Last month my payment was bounced. He called me and send me msg. I[censored] today not done payment. I will reach your home and beat him, your father and you. And your father come on road as a bagger. It is a very big punch for me . I have record Ed this call, and exclated with media, this person name was Deepak and his number is [protected], when I complaint in police, and after than 1 called for me your hdfc bank [protected] and recover the talks behave of Mr . Deepak, he told me I am calling from rajuori garden ansal plaza.its clear the call of hdfc bank same time called me, after police complaint. Hdfc bank involved with recovery agency.
He told me I am hdfc bank executive.
I am not aford for police.

It was the very big point for me, he abousing my father.

Please provide me full details of my deepak. Where does he work in your recovery agency or your Branch.

Otherwise I exclate this mail RBI, Consumer court, and human resources ministry with recording.
