This is to inform you that i was holding a credit card for a couple of years where you will see my credit history has been impeccable.
When the card came up for renewal i sent a letter to your chennai office asking that it be discontinued and also called hdfc bank customer care and told them the same. You will also note in your records that i have not used the card since then.
Since the past 2 years, i have been continuously pestered to pay the renewal amount. Add to this, your bank has been penalizing me with interest charges on an amount that has been forcefully subjected on me.
In spite of explaining to several hdfc officers via email, phone call, etc. That i have discontinued the card and therefore no renewal charges should be applicable, there seems to be no closure/revert from hdfc bank on this issue.
Several officers from your bank have mentioned that they will resolve this matter from their end with no avail. Now it has come down to intimidating emails and phone calls from your 3rd party collection agencies threatening me of dire consequences.
This is undue harassment to a customer and if no action is taken immediately, i will have no other option but to take legal recourse. Was this information helpful? |
