[Resolved] HDFC Bank — hdfc bank credit card dispute | |||
Dear hdfc, This is regarding my credit card disput with hdfc bank. In the year of 2016 there was total outstanding amount for my credit card, approx 50k, then i called hdfc customer care for the card settelment, and they told me, it will be 25 k, and then in the month of aprail they deducted approx 22.5k from my hdfc saving account, without informing me, they put lien on my account, then i visited hdfc branch to get clarification and asked to get clousure of my account, then they denied for closing my account. I called customer care, that you have been told me to settle my credit card in 25k, and you without informing me, have already been deducted 22.5k from my account, please release settlement letter and i will pay remaining25k-22.5= 2.5k9 (As per commitmnet done by hfdc custoner care executive telephonic, ful final card settlement will be in 25k), so they told me that now you card can will not be settled any more (Beacuse now it is not in collection deaprtment, and they have already deducted 22.5k from my account so will not provide me settlement letter of 25k), and then again i visited hdfc branch to get closure of my account, they told me, you account is in under lien, so they can not provide me closure of my hdfc saving account (Term from salary to saving)> So this was the case of : 1. Fraud done by hdfc. 2. False/ wrong commitment. 3 money was taken from my account without my permission. 4 hdfc denied to close my account. 5 i am not using any service of hdfc bank, because my account is under lien, still i am getting message of fine for not maintaing minimum balance in the account, and i have already given my account closure application in written to the bank. 6. Its been 2 years, they keep on call me on monthly basis, now they are asking me, total outstanding balance approx 60k. 7 every month i gets call from hdfc credit card department, i request them to close my credit card account, my saving account, but they are not agree (I tells them, i will pay only what you have done commitment me in the year of 2016), i will not pay fine that you are adding every month from last 2 years. 8 why hdfc bank is fail to provide me closure of my hdfc saving account? 9. Why, till now my account is under lien? 10. Why they done fraud commitment to me? 11. Why they deducted money from my account, without my permission, and then start telling that now your card can not be settled any more? Its really case of mental harassment, i hope hdfc will take this case on priority list, before taking my any action, because they done false commitment, and keeps on calling me/disturbing me.
