I have made several attempts, took all precautionary measure and raised a dispute complaint to the bank from the time o[censored]nauthorized transaction happened on my credit card on 8th feb 2019. Below are the series of events until today:-
On 8th feb 2019 at around 3.48pm i have started getting the sms on my cell about debits were happening on my cc with rs. 500/-, rs. 9000/- & rs. 9000/- in a span 2-3 secs.
Immediately i got a call from your bank asking authenticity of these online transaction, i have immediately asked your customer care person to block the card, since these transaction were not done by me.
Even after blocking the card i kept getting sms messages of the different amounts being charged to my card and the transaction declined message until 8.23pm of the same day night.
Realizing a foul play and the fraud and unauthorized transaction, i have called your customer again on the same night and i have been given an assured by bank that someone from risk team will contact me next day.
I did not get any call from the risk team or customer care until next day, later i have reached out your bank again next day check the status on the dispute request and on the same time they have registered three complaints on these transaction.
Subsequently i have sent duly filled dispute form to [protected]@hdfcbank.com on tuesday last week.
I have been claiming these transactions were not done by me and are unauthorized the bank personal insisting these are authorized transaction and informed me that i have to pay the disputed amount.
This is relay disgusting and frustrating for me, as i am a customer for last 15+ years not expecting such response without doing proper investigation of these fraudulent transaction, the basic common sense to apply how can a person make two transaction in a span of 2 secs of the same amount? And i have shared all the evidence of the sms received from the some fraud company after blocking the card, why these fraud transaction were taking place even after blocking the card?
I need a justice in the case. I have provided all the information to the bank, raised a complaint with cyber crime and shared the copy with the bank. Now today is my due date to pay the last month credit card outstanding, i have been asked by the bank to pay the disputed amount as well..
