HDFC Bank — hdfc bank harassment and civil delays | |||
Sir, We have been struggling from past 4 months with hdfc bank and cibil but don’t know whom to blame or whom not to blame. My case details are as follows: My hdfc bank credit card of 2002 had some outstanding amount to which the amount of approx. Rs10, 000 was made as on july 2019, which i did not know about. But anyhow, i paid and cleared all my dues in july 2019. Please note: i did not just settle the amount but paid all the pending dues. For which at first i received incorrect noc dated 8th august 2019 from the bank (Attached) which stated that the amount was settled and on that basis they sent the report to cibil which was updated also incorrectly as “post wo settled” according to hdfc report, whereas i cleared complete dues. (The incorrect noc is attached) After which, i immediately contacted the bank to get the mistake rectified, therefore in response i received an email on 8th august 2019 itself stating that my cibil report will be updated within 45 days (Email attached). However, it’s already been around 70 days and still no update. Upon my request they issued a new noc dated 18th september (Attached). Ever since, we are trying to reach the bank and cibil, thinking someone could help us getting it cleared from cibil but we’re failed and tired. Hdfc bank employees and customer care only have only one answer that we’ve sent your request and raised a complaint to concerned department and response is awaited. Upon asking about that concerned department, we get a reply that they don’t know which department it is. Who can imagine that hdfc employees doesn’t know which “concerned department” handles cibil inquiries! Or perhaps, they deliberately do not want to disclose the correct information. Its complete harassment from hdfc bank, where they are giving a message that they can do whatever they want and that they will respond as per their own comfort no matter what the circumstances you are in! Upon contacting cibil, they don’t answer as well and ignore it by saying they only respond to banks not consumers. Sir, i have an urgent need of loan and only because of this one small issue i'm unable to get it. I'd highly appreciate if someone can help me clear my cibil report.
