[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — hdfc card blocked and hefty amount reflecting against statement

Last month i received call from hdfc asking me to pay the outstanding amount against the statement. Wherein they asked me to clear the amount against a loan i had taken (Insta loan) against credit card limit and has a span of 12 month emi. For which i cleared them that i had already paid my last month statement outstanding and they corrected said that this is just a call to remind me about the current month payment.
I have the email for the insta loan emi and the voice record of this conversation as well.
The next month in addition to the statement i had paid an extra amount as well last month.

This month i receive a statement requesting me to pay the remaining amount against the loan. And the card is also blocked for month than a month.

I cannot see any transaction details in the hdfc site as well and it give a message to check after 24 hours. This message is been there for more than a month now.

The issue now is that, i am asked to pay complete 12 month emi amount in the first month itself.

This is ridiculous and i need help to resolve this. I couldn't reach the customer care as well through phone.

This seems to a case of money laundering such as fictional loans and false invoicing.

Dear Customer,

We wish to inform that, bank regularly monitors the credit card transactions incurred by the customers and during one such instance, bank had observed online foreign exchange transactions on your credit card no ending 1776. In view of same, the bank was constrained to take the necessary action by closing credit card in case of any "overseas forex trading" transactions and report the same to the regulator. Hence, you are requested to refrain from doing such transactions on your credit card and regret our inability to reactivate your credit card.
