Dear Sir / Madam,
I, Marcus Dominic Gonsalvez, part of the HR department at A Reputed IT company where most of our employees bank with HDFC would like to bring to your attention an incident which has happened to me. I have been a loyal customer to HDFC for the past five years and have no regrets till date.
Recently however I received a text message (on 12th Feb) informing me that my old credit card ending with 3028 will be deactivated from 11th April. Unfortunately I have not requested for any new credit card. Later that evening I got a call from an HDFC employee (Aswini) stating that I will be getting a new credit card with enhanced limit. After verification only she informed that there is 6 monthly fee tagged to the card and then she transferred the call to another department. Unfortunately the call got cut.
This morning again I got a call from her and I informed her that im not interested in taking this new card because I didn’t apply for it neither does it benefit me in any way better than me existing card. She said that she already processed the document and cant revert back to my old/ existing credit card.
I request you to please help me retain my existing credit card so that I do not have to change over to the new credit card. Looking forward to a positive response from your end.
I have raised a grievance request in the web site as well. If you can help with any poc from HDFC, I will be at most grateful to you. Was this information helpful? |
Request you to please mail us at [protected]@hdfcbank.com along with your card details and contact details. Kindly mention Ref ID-TTU[protected] in the subject. Will take it up on priority.
