[Resolved] HDFC Bank — hdfc fastag not issued

I had applied for an hdfc fastag on 31st august 2017. I received confirmation that a fastag account has been created, with customer id:[protected] in september 2017. However, i have not received the fastag till date (16th january 2018).

The customer care number[protected] is not reachable and emails to hdfc. [protected]@sahaj.co.in has had no replies. This is appalling customer support from one of the biggest banks in india.

HDFC Bank Customer Care's response Dear Customer,

We understand that Fastag representative has contacted you and shared you the POD details of the Tag what was dispatched to your address. Kindly note that the tag was sent to you through DTDC Courier vide POD: Z36397323 and as per courier records was delivered to you on September 17, 2017.

Please correct the statement. I believe as per our conversation, we were able to establish that the courier with the FasTag was delivered to the wrong person. And this issue dragged on for 5 months because of the lack of a proper customer care mechanism.

Please re-issue the FasTag at the earliest to the correct address.
