[Resolved] HDFC Bank — Hdfc forex plus prepaid card system down issue | |||
In the month of february 2016, we opted for hdfc prepaid forexplus card to travel to dubai. As part of the regular procedure we provided return flight tickets for purchasing the card, clearly indicating the travel dates. On 22nd feb 16, hdfc had a planned downtime and this was not informed to us when purchasing the card. This led to rejection of our transactions at various outlet in dubai. As this was the only card we carried currency acceptance in dubai. This lead to lot of mental and physical hardships in a foreign country. We would request you to take this matter seriously with hdfc bank so no other tourist will face such situations in future. Additionally would like to demand for compensatory benefits from hdfc bank for its irresponsible attitude towards customers. Let me know if more information required.
