[Resolved] HDFC Bank — hdfc issued a priced credit card without my consent | |
Recently i started seeing credit card appearing in my hdfc mobile app, i left it initially, but later i observed that a fee was also applied on that. I kept asking about hdfc customer care through email and even escalated that "why was i issued credit card without my consent". But they kept answering about fees and not about why i was issued. I got a call from hdfc representative explaining that i applied credit card in guwahait it seems, which was way back in 2008. And i got this credit card in 2018. How does it even make sense to issue a person credit card after 10 years after the application. And to clarify more, in 2008, my intention was just to open a back account and not credit card. I don't how that led to application of credit card. I really doubting if it is any kind of scam to get more money from customers in the form of fees. Was this information helpful? | |
