I applied for home loan in hdfc. I received the loan cheque from the bank with wrong account number, even proper cancel cheque is provided by seller.
We got know the issue only after the registration process is done and seller tried to deposit the cheque.
And now, they want to change the sale deed and rectify it with proper cheque number from our end, even though the mistake is from hdfc.
They say its just a typo mistake and they cannot do anything because they deal with lot of such cases every day. I don't understand if such kind of mistakes are done most of the time, do we have to suffer for that.
Another big thing is the loan was issued after 4 of my application after continuous followup. The hdfc agent doesn't even know what kind of documents are required for processing loan.
I do the followup always and at the end of the day the response is 'it will be done within 1 or 2 days sir'. At last they end up with asking another document.
I didn't escalate/raise any complaint for delayed processing. But, now i am fully frustrated by the service provided by hdfc. Reputed bank like hdfc is providing this kind of service? Too bad.
I would request to take the necessary action against this. So that, i don't need to go through all these process again and need a proper compensation if i have to go through all these processes.
