Complaint regarding taking out chq for clearing. They dont have any fix time. Sometimes they take out clearing at 1pm, sometimes they take out clearing at 2.30. I em facing this problem from long time. Whenever i complaint about this. They give lame excuses. Kindly look into this matter as soon as possible. My currnet accout number-[protected]. Verified Support Sep 01, 2017 HDFC Bank Customer Care's response Dear Customer, In terms of Clearing guidelines, issued by RBI, the clear funds balance available in the account at the beginning of the day would be considered for the purpose of Cheque(s) received in clearing. We advise you to maintain sufficient clear funds balance in the account in the future, at the time of issuance of the cheque, to avoid instances of Cheque return and cheque return charges.
