[Resolved] HDFC Bank — I want to close my credit card expiry date 03/17 | |||
I am using HDFC credit card from 03/2014 expire date is 03/17, and i am not using the card for last 3 months (starting of the year 2017) and paid all the dues, when after the expire date 03/17 HDFC charged me 500 Rupees, when i called the customer care they told me it is for Annual fees, but i am not interested to continue the credit card. so i asked them to close the card, Customer care representative side already my new credit card was sent. But i was relocated to Bangalore 2 years back. the card went to Hyderabad and returned back to bank. now i cant able to login to my account, not able to redeem my points, not able to change my address even online. #1, Why do HDFC bank is asking me to send a hard copy of my credit card details for the closure of my credit card? is this is confidential. #2, Why not they send the representative to my location for closure formalities? As they can able send the representative while opening the new credit card account. Was this information helpful? | |||
