I wanted to reach out regarding my recent refund transaction which was not credited to my HDFC Account.
Team, Firstly I want to first give you a full clarity on the situation so you can get a complete overview.
I purchased a product from Amazon, Worth Rs 41, 490/- which was later returned to Amazon and the amount was refunded according to Amazon.
Amazon has now provided me with a Refund Reference Number[protected] and Amazon claims the refund has been made from their end.
Since then, I have consistently tried reaching out to HDFC Bank as the amount has not been credited to my Bank Account and HDFC Bank has failed to resolve my issue as of today (15th February, 2022).
Previously I reached out to HDFC's social media team via Twitter where I was given a complaint ID - TW[protected]. Today HDFC bank has responded to me over email with a response which says 35 days (Until March 25, 2022) will be required to resolve the issue.
Team, I again want to re-iterate, I do not know what is going on with my money and I needs my amount credited to my account on an immediate basis. Please look into this issue and resolve it within 72 hours of time.
Here are some details HDFC Customer care has informed me to share :
1. Last 4 digits of your Account, Debit card Or Credit card used for making transaction - My Card was not used for making the transaction, UPI was used. But Nonetheless, Last 4 digits are 7490
2. Transaction Date and Amount - I made the transaction on 1st February 2022, And Amazon informed me they have refunded on 11th February
3. Date and Amount refunded by the Merchant - 11th February, 2022
4. Mode of refund (NEFT/IMPS/UPI etc.) used by the Merchant - UPI, I made the payment to Amazon through BHIM UPI linked to my HDFC Bank Account.
5. Refund reference number provided by Amazon[protected]

Team, Please consider this matter urgent. HDFC Customer care was not able to help me in any shape until today. I am expecting a quick resolution on the same.
