I recently applied for a credit card from hdfc with a offer wherein I was offered a diners card along with it with the information given to me was that of these cards have individual credit limits and not shared which wasn't a fact, on being in an emergency situation when I cantacted the bank on an helpline number provided a gentleman called amjad could did not even try to explain the situation and just hung up the call. The request being simple of topping up the card with additional limit only for the current billing cycle.
A: providing incorrect and misleading information.
B: offering NO after sale services
C: poorly trained staff members
D: in a situation which requires prompt response, there wasn't any response at all.
These are the resons any one wouldn't want to bank with hdfc.
I have been using other cards which have either excelled in such services or are at least putting in efforts to do so.
