[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — invalid action on no re-kyc

My name is sukesh marla and i hold current account in hdfc with name train it - my customer id is 58346125 with personal customer id of 58346126.

I also hold a saving account with customer id 34683218

I have several mutual funds, rds associated with hdfc too.

Recently i had a very bad experience with hdfc. I used to receive several notifications about re-kyc. I ignored them and i consider it as my mistake.
Here is my take on same.

1 - we get hundreds of advertisement sms from hdfc regarding the various products in hdfc. Even after showing no interest we get call regarding your marketing team.
My question - why didn't we get a single call regarding re-kyc if it's that important? Why its limited to sms which is usually ignored.

2 - why didn't there was not even a single sms/email notification which said "your transaction is blocked because re-kyc is not done" when the transaction was blocked because of no re-kyc.
I would have completed the re-kyc part as soon as i found that transaction was blocked. I came to know when i tried to do the online transaction 3rd or 4th time. Initially, i thought it’s a simple system problem. Error in net banking is even more strange - "unable to proceed transaction" – why reason is not displayed. It would have given indication and i would have taken a decision. It just make hdfc automation system bad

3 - when it was account opening - hdfc customer care came to my home and done all the formalities. He has done several follow-ups too before that.
My question is why the process is not same for re-kyc? Its like run behind the customer, once get it ignore them.

4- if i have not followed bank policies bank should have closed my bank account itself and must have given cheque of remaining amount in the personal name. Who gave them right over my money. Instead of closing account, they blocked the transaction. How can they do that?

5- why don't they have any online portal for updating re-kyc? Everyone don't have enough time to do all these formalities. When it comes to "open new account" hdfc does all formalities then why can't it happen for re-kyc.

6- saturday-25 nov, i have submitted all the documents in hdfc branch. Still, my transaction is not active.

I had credit card payment to do, i had rd amount to be deducted, i have my salaries of my employees – hdfc won’t take in charge of these things.

I accept my mistake of not doing re-kyc. But it would have never happened if they would have done one of the first five points mentioned above.

They say, i can’t even close my account before re-kyc which i don’t know how many days it will take to complete.

Kindly help me with enabling my transaction earliest so that i can close my account with such selfish bank and go on with another one.
