On 27th Jan Using PAYZAPP mobile app I have recharged TATAsky DTH account. The money got debited from my HDFC bank account and I got a msg also received a message from Payzap saying transection is successful.
Now to my greatest surprise, only after few days I realized that the DTH was not recharged. When contacted Tatasky they informed that they have not received any recharge on 27th. So, that means the money has not gone to the merchant, whereas Payzap sent me a message saying the transection was successful which is misleading. The Money which was got deducted was never refunded and never reached the merchant.So basically the money is lost ! Now our government is encouraging all to use digital transection and use mobile apps, this is the classic example to fraud done by one of the best banks on India. If I would have not checked with tatasky, i would have never got to know about it.The common man should know how they can be cheated by using HDFC bank apps.
