[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — Negative amount is shown in my account..

Hi, my self BASHID PASHA having an account no.[protected] at MUNDALI
branch, cuttack (Odisha).
since DEC 2015 I am unable to maintain balance due to my personal problem and since DEC 2015 I never user this HDFC account further.I told no of times to my bank people to close my account but they never listened. so I request to close my account immediately ..I never use your HDFC account in future...it shows that increase in negative balance.I am unable to pay those amount..so rather than increased it again, it is better to close my account.

Dear Baseet,
We request you to provide the below details to enable us to track the status of your application for account closure:

1. Date when application was sent/submitted
2. Complete address of the branch where the application was sent/submitted
3. Mode of sending (post or courier details).

If the closure request was submitted/sent more than a year back, please provide us with the acknowledgement copy. Incase you are not in possession of the acknowledgement copy, request you to visit the nearest branch and submit a fresh request for account closure.

The TAT's for removal of linkages is as below and the same is also mentioned in the combined closure form :
Credit card : 10 working days
De-linking/Relinking any product (eg loan/fd/locker etc) : 10 working days
Depository account : 10 working days
Trading Account : 10 working days
Investment services(ISA) : 10 working days (no holding ) and 20 working days (with holding)
Incase the account is still not closed as per above TAT, request you to revert to us with the above details to track the status of your application.
