[Resolved] HDFC Bank — Negative balance | |||
I had a salary account with hdfc since 2012. After i changed my job i switched to a different salary account. So my salary account with hdfc got changed to a normal savings account. However i was never informed about the same via mail. I have never received any written or verbal communication from hdfc about the same. Everytime i try to reach the customer support i have to go through a lot of options in ivr but they do not give the option to speak to the customer care representative or even an option of account closure procedure. There is nothing clearly mentioned in here website either, no option to reach out for the customer support at all. Therefore i could not close my account and i dont even know the procedure. Now i have a negetive balance of inr 9700. It only makes me feel that this is an intentional step to harass customers by not letting them close accounts and make money.
