[Resolved] HDFC Bank — negative balance | |||||
A company i used to work with provided me with hdfc account. After leaving that company my new company provided me with other bank's account. I didn't use hdfc banks account after i left that company. After all these years when i just logged in for the sake of curiosity it's showing a negative balance. Toi had sent hdfc an email regarding rbi guidelines and the practice of charging negatively to which hdfc and all other banks had replied that they are not charging negatively now. But here is an example of how banks like hdfc continue to charge negatively even after the customer care has been informed about the same. I have written mails and called up customer care to close the account. I am not going to pay anything as it's against rbi guilines. Furthermore why should i pay some 4700₹ for the services which i have not used. Please take stringent action against banks like hdfc who say one thing in media and continue to charge for accounts which are not in use. Was this information helpful? | |||||
