[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — negative balance in account

Hello,

My friend transferred me 13k to my hdfc bank account but when i opened and checked it. The balance was 10, 000 later on further checks i came to know that 3k has been deducted from my account for not maintaining mab. How can i get back my money. Please help me with this. Later on i went to nearest branch to close my account but they replied saying you should go to your home branch where my home branch is 30kms from my place it takes atleast 2hrs to travel.
The communication was not provided properly.

These benefits are extended by virtue of your employment in the organization, on whose request the account is opened with the bank. In the event of no salary credits in the Salary Account for any continuous three months, the Bank reserves the right to change the status of Salary Account to Savings Regular Account and the Terms & Conditions as applicable to the HDFC Bank Savings Regular Account shall apply to this account from the date of change of status.
