[Resolved] HDFC Bank — Negative balance in my account | |||
Hello, My salary account (In hdfc bank) was created in my first company, so once i left the company and when i joined another company after couple of years i again had to open the account in HDFC as i didn't had details of the prior account of HDFC. Now my salary account in hdfc bank has been converted to savings account without informing me i had called my customer relationship manager and raised a request to close my account which he agreed as i did not want to use the account and they did say that they will follow up with the request and close the account. But uptil now the account is not yet closed and both the account are in debit and i did not receive any prior intimation about the charges but suddenly i received an email from them about the debt in the account. I wish to close both my accounts and i am not willing to pay the charges as i was not been informed during opening the account that their is any charges involved for non-maintenance of the account. Bank is deducting amount from my account as narration as 3rd party cash TXN INC ST & EC. Kindly do the needful to refund that amount.
