[Resolved] HDFC Bank — nre nro account opening | |||
My daughter applied for new account opening during her recent visit to india. The official in magarpatta city pune branch (A badly supervised and ill informed trainee i believe) said it will take max 7 days. The process is still incomplete after one month in spite of full compliance of documents on day one and numerous visits for follow up. Bad news is the accounts are opened in some different branch without our consent. High value check deposited is not cleared after 8 days. It was worst experience with hdfc bank.
