[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — Policy Cancellation

Dear Sir, i here by bring to your notice that as per policy term the free look cancellation will be allowed with in 15 days on receipt of original policy bond in my hand. though i not received the any policy bond from HDFC LIFE for a month after my policy adopted date. so i approach sampalbur branch and came to know they policy already dispatched and received by me on 15 th sep but actually i did it received the bond.i got the AWB no of Blue dart from bank and approach Bluedart.i found the policy delivered to some one else instead of me.further tracking i found the policy bond received by HDFC JHARSUGUDA BANK staff itself and got received sign from him .From this it is clear that dispatching of policy from bank through bluedart courier to the policy holder has been violated. further i approach Bluedart to get my policy, Bluedart interacted with Jharsuguda HDFC bank and finally received the policy bond to me 16 th Oct and the received receipt sign by me. it is clear-ally HDFC LIFE + BLUE DART COURIER internal problem i received the policy bond only on 16 October 2014.so as per bank policy i can avail the free look cancellation after receipt of policy bond to me for period of 15 days. I need to cancel the policy with any detection. i here by attached the Blue dart courier receipt 1. Old wrongly dispatched receipt copy. 2. Present blue dart received receipt with my sign on 16th oct 2014. I want to surrender the Policy though i already approach Hdfc Life with in the free look cancellation period but sampalpur branch not taking further any action and try to avoid my cancellation request Now approached the customer but now your advising to continue the policy.due to your BANK AND YOUR BLUE DART COURIER partner internal problem i was suffered to cancel my policy. As a HDFC BANK Customer i request customer care department to look of the issue and take action and cancel my policy with out and deduction MY POLICY NUMBER IS : 17066638 Receipt of policy bond by me on 16 th Oct 2014.
