I submitted a request for Surrender Value Quatation at HDFC Life Office, Vikhroli, Mumbai on 1st March 2017. I was informed that the quotation would be mailed to me within 2 days.
However, in spite of repeated reminders and calls (5 till date) the quotation has not been issued. I have been in contact with Mr. Hansraj Patil at HDFC Life Vikhroli Office and he has been stalling me with different reasons everyday. The customer service at HDFC Life has been extremely poor but this deliberate delay tops it all. This time I have been told that the quotation is not being generated till I get my money back that is due as it will cause confusion in my mind. I wanted the quotation before the next premium is due on 11/03/2017 but I now feel that HDFC Life is making every attempt to make sure that I receive the quotation only after that.
I have communicated all of this in great detail to Mr. Hansraj Patil and however he has made no attempt to generate the quotation on time and on the contrary has delayed it way beyond the initially mentioned 2 days.
It is also worth noting that Mr Hansraj Patil stalled me with a different reason each day and has not called me back even once to give me an update on the reason behind this frustrating delay. I have made a total of 5 calls in order to follow up and each time till yesterday I was promised that the quotation will be mailed by evening. This promise was never fulfilled and every time I had to call back to ask why that was the case.
I have instructed HDFC Life verbally not to deduct the next premium payment till I get the quotation. Please look in to this matter as soon as possible. Was this information helpful? |
