I have a HDFC credit card since 2010, i have cleared huge balances twice with them. Now i have a balance of 36000 Rs. The minimum due on that was 1800 Rs. I have been subject to embarrassment, because a call was made to my father who is 71 yrs old, threatening him that they will take against his daughter if Rs 1800 is not paid.
I was angry and called the customer service. This CSR was so annoying that he did not even bother to even acknowledge my situation and told me that i was called number time. I had not got any phone call. When i asked him to give me the phone number at which the call was made, he gave a different number. SO the bank did not have the correct phone number, in spite of me writing the letter to Chennai office asking for a phone number updation. He was like we did not receive anything.
I have few questions here, which are the points i am complaining on :
1) Why are Indian customers treated so poorly?
2) Why does the bank such poor attitude towards customers?
2) Why does the bank follow grandfather days procedures of writing letters for every damn change?
I am going to pay off my balance in full and cancel this account with HDFC, along with two other savings account I have with them.
I see that they do not value my business. I bank with another bank called Axis who are very friendly, polite and they respect me for the business. Was this information helpful? |
